The Tempest - July 2005

On Sunday July 24th the Oddsocks Theatre Company returned to the arboretum to treat us to a performance of Shakespeare’s ‘The Tempest’

After a fine couple of weeks, the weather turned cool so everyone had to wrap up to enjoy their picnics. Hot coffee was more appreciated than chilled champagne.

The temperature built up as we enjoyed the talented and enthusiastic performance. The dialogue was witty, the adlibs appropriate and the audience participated accordingly.

All in all, a superb evening.

Some of the company entertain the audience before the performance commences.

Stephanie, slightly worse for wear after drinking the local brew

An ecstatic Miranda

Rejoicing as true love is found.

I knew it would all end happily
