As well as the above positions we occassionaly have specific projects available for volunteers to get involved in. Training and guidance will be provided but we encourage volunteers to take some ownership of their individual project. The aim of each project is to develop a new education resource to be used in hands on activities for school groups.

Past projects include:-
- Development of a composting regime at the arboretum
- Development of a large leaf and flower pressing system to preserve samples for art/craft activities.

If you would like to help or even have a suggestion for a project please contact our Education and Outreach Programme Manager
