·        Become a member.

We offer a Graded Membership Scheme, with membership starting from as little as £24.00 for an adult and £12.00 for a child. This gives entry to the Arboretum every day from 1 February to 30 November 2007. For details of the membership scheme and the benefits associated with each level please click HERE.

·        Become a volunteer.

Our volunteers staff the ticket office (the commitment being for about 5 or 6 days during the season), help in the general maintenance of the grounds and also help deliver our education programme.

·        Hold a function in the Arboretum.

The arboretum is an ideal location to hold a corporate event, wedding reception or a private party.

For further information, please click HERE for contact details.

·        Adopt a tree.

Trees are long-lived, beautiful and poignant reminders of special events and special people. You could adopt one to remember the birth of a child, a wedding day, an anniversary, or the life of a beloved parent.

Adopting a tree here provides an opportunity to form a closer relationship with a special tree and the work of the arboretum. You can choose to adopt any tree (not already adopted) within the Arboretum.

The Chief Arborist will accompany you to choose your tree, explaining the characteristics of specific trees. When you have made your choice a specially engraved plaque will be mounted beside the tree. This will bear the name of the person to whom the tree is dedicated and also the name of the tree. Your adoption will be entered in our Register of Adopted Trees, giving names of the sponsors, the person or event to be commemorated or honoured, along with details of the tree and its location in the Arboretum.
The Arboretum will then nurture and care for ‘your’ tree to the extent of its natural life
