After the morning’s entertainment Alan and his wife, Allison, joined our trustees and benefactors for lunch in the Grecian Room at Castle Howard. After lunch Alan regaled us with more tales and then conducted an auction of some extremely rare plants donated by RBG Kew. Afterwards John Simmons gave the vote of thanks and presented Allison with a bouquet of flowers. |
